We are so pleased with the response to the classes so far. Each of the Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning classes have good groups of around 6 - 7 students in each.
So far the lessons have been 2D using paint, collage, texta and pastel. Using volcanoes, tropical fish and birds of paradise as subject matter, the lessons have taught such things as thinking about negative & postive space, placement of an object on the page, material handling, some basic colour theory. All of these will continue to be built on and added to over the term.
We hope to update the gallery page soon with some of the terrific work that is being made.
